The company

Who is Dekoriti?

Dekoriti is a European furniture manufacturer and interior fit-out contractor, founded in 1989 in Prishtina and based today at a purpose-built furniture factory in Lipjan, Kosovo. We manufacture hotel furniture and FF&E, architectural joinery, custom kitchens and complete turnkey interiors for hospitality, commercial and residential projects in Europe and worldwide.

Where is your furniture factory?

Our wood factory is in Lipjan, Kosovo, about 20 minutes from Prishtina International Airport. Most European capitals are roughly two hours away by air, so clients visit the factory, review samples and hold technical meetings in person.

How long has Dekoriti been making furniture?

Since 1989. Enver Morina started with a single woodworking machine in the Ulpiana neighbourhood of Prishtina. The first commercial commission followed in 1992, the interior of the first Kosovo Parliament in 1999, and the move from a garage workshop to a purpose-built factory in 2008. That is more than three decades of continuous woodworking and furniture production.

Has Dekoriti won any design awards?

Yes. Four BIG SEE awards: Best Interior in 2018, both the Interior Design and Tourism Design awards in 2019 for Xeni Imperial, and the Grand Prix in the Residential category at the BIG SEE Interior Design Awards 2026 for ASH House. Don Cafe House was published internationally on ArchDaily in 2011, and our work has been exhibited at COLLECTIBLE Brussels and Milan Design Week.

Cost

Is furniture manufactured in Kosovo cheaper?

Yes, and usually by a wide margin. Comparable joinery and furniture packages are often up to three times more competitive than equivalent production in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. The saving comes from a lower cost base and from keeping every process in-house, not from cheaper materials: we use the same timber, the same hardware and the same tolerances a Western European workshop would.

Why is it so much less expensive?

Two reasons. Kosovo has a considerably lower manufacturing cost base than Western Europe. And because technical development, CNC machining, solid wood and veneer work, finishing, assembly, packing and installation all happen inside our own organisation, nothing is subcontracted out and marked up on the way to you.

Does a lower price mean lower quality?

No, and it is a fair thing to ask. We work to international hotel brand standards, produce finish and colour samples for approval before production, trial-assemble furniture in the factory, and run a documented quality inspection before anything is packed. Our clients include international hotel groups, and our work has won European design awards. The difference is the cost base, not the standard.

Can you help reduce the cost of a design that is over budget?

That is exactly what value engineering is for. Most cost overruns in joinery are decided long before anyone cuts timber, in construction methods and material choices that were never tested against a price. We review those early, propose alternatives that hold the design intent, and put the saving back into the parts of the project people actually touch.

What we make

What kind of furniture do you manufacture?

Hotel guest-room furniture and FF&E packages, wardrobes, headboards and bedside units, desks, vanities, minibar and luggage units, reception and concierge desks, restaurant, bar and lounge furniture, doors and decorative wall panelling, architectural joinery, custom kitchens, bathroom furniture, fitted storage, and prototypes or small production series.

Do you make bespoke and custom furniture?

Yes. Bespoke work is the core of the business. We manufacture one-off pieces, project quantities and repeat production for architects, designers, contractors, hospitality operators and furniture brands, working from your drawings or developing the construction with you.

Do you manufacture for furniture brands under private label?

Yes. We take on private-label and contract manufacturing, including design-for-manufacturing support, prototype production, cost optimisation and preparation for repeat production.

What materials and finishes do you work with?

Solid wood, natural veneer, MDF and particleboard, plywood, HPL and compact laminate, and integrated metal, glass and upholstered components. Finishes include clear coats, natural and coloured stains, open-pore and closed-pore systems, matt, satin and gloss lacquers, pigmented finishes, painted MDF, oiled timber and project-specific colour matching.

Can you work from our drawings, BOQ or concept?

Yes. Send architectural or furniture drawings, a bill of quantities, or simply a concept. We review the specification, materials, hardware and finishes, develop the construction details, production drawings and CNC programming, and come back within 48 hours.

Do you produce samples and prototypes before full production?

Yes. Finish and colour samples, and prototype or sample pieces, are produced for approval before a project goes into full manufacturing.

Delivery and installation

Do you deliver furniture across Europe?

Yes. We handle export packing designed for international road transport and coordinate the logistics ourselves. Our trucks typically reach Germany in around 72 hours, and we deliver throughout the European Union. We also deliver and install outside Europe, including projects in the United States.

Which countries have you worked in?

We have delivered projects across Europe, including The Hoxton Dublin in Ireland and The Hotel Bristol Berlin in Germany, alongside hotel, office, retail and residential work in Kosovo and the wider region. Beyond Europe, we are currently delivering projects in the United States.

Do you install, or only manufacture?

We install. Our own installation teams work on site across Europe and internationally, to local site conditions and programmes, rather than handing your project to a local subcontractor who has never seen it before.

How long does a project take?

It depends entirely on scope, quantities and how settled the design is. Once drawings are approved we give a production and delivery programme, and we sequence and batch-plan against it. Send the drawings or a BOQ and we will come back with a realistic schedule.

Working with us

How do I get a quote?

Send drawings, a BOQ or a concept to info@dekoriti.biz, or use the contact form. We respond within 48 hours. The more detail you send on materials, hardware, finishes and quantities, the more precise the quotation.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes, and we encourage it. The factory is about 20 minutes from Prishtina International Airport and roughly two hours' flight from most European capitals, which makes a visit for a technical review or sample approval straightforward.

Is the factory environmentally responsible?

We installed a 100 kW solar system at the facility, which powers a significant part of our operations and reduces the carbon footprint of what we manufacture.

Where do your skilled workers come from?

Largely from our own Dekoriti Training Center, one of the few woodworking training centres authorised and certified by the Government of Kosovo. It sits beside the factory and trains carpenters, furniture makers, digital manufacturing operators and finishers.

Still deciding?

Send the drawings. We will tell you what it costs.

Drawings, a BOQ or a concept sketch. A considered answer within 48 hours, with no obligation.
